Hank's Parents
Dad was a cattle buyer as a profession. Mom was a stay at home mother until we grew up. Dad rented an acreage outside of town. This was kind of our fun place. We had horses, cow, calves, hogs, chickens, etc. The whole family pretty much enjoyed getting away from town.

Mom was and still is a very good cook!!!!!!!! She would always make us breakfast before school, and have cookies and milk ready for us after school. All the neighborhood kids would stay at our house. She was also a very good seamstress. She made doll clothes for income while baby sitting at least 2-4 kids.

Steve's Parents
Steve and I instantly became friends and he spent a lot of time to our house as well as other neighbors. Tom, Steve's dad, runs a road maintenance company. Tom is a friendly man but keeps to him self most of the time, tending to his beautiful flowers and often working with his talented hands building additions on to his house, garage, etc. Steve's mom works as a recorder for a Seed Co. then at night; she bakes cakes for Weddings, B days, etc. This is an every night job she is really swamped down with this, but everybody knows her baking is superb!

Amy "The Niece"
This is Amy, she is my niece. Amy is also is a very talented gymnast, and went to state one year for it. Amy lives in the country, and is just a good wholesome all American girl.

Cowgirl Whitney
Whitney is a young cowgirl, and loves working with the horses. She lives in town, but goes to horse camp every summer. She is also a good friend of Amy's.

Katelyn
Katelyn and Whitney are cousins, born three weeks apart, so they are fairly close in friendship. Katelyn really likes basketball. She also has a boyfriend that mom watches over pretty close (the mother thing).

Computer Guy
This is our street's computer genius! He builds, repairs, does stuff online to generate income and he also works during the day for a local Internet service. We don't really see much of him unless he is out walking his Basset Hound. Just a good fella!

Code Enforcer
This is our friendly neighborhood police man, who attended the police academy out of high school, then he became a law enforcement officer in this small Iowa town. He truly enjoys his job. He writes tickets on cars that are parked on the wrong side of the road, parking meters that have expired, and double parked cars. Everybody honks and waves at him while driving by and they like to kid with him while walking by. He really feels important to ticket parking violators.

Painter Dave
This is Dave, he doesn't work unless he gets some odd painting jobs. He lives in his cousin's apartment complex. Dave does get quite a few jobs painting attorney's offices, dentists, doctors, etc. Just an all around nice guy!

Shuttle Sam
This is an individual that I worked with at the Casino's chauffeur service as a driver. This man was so weird. He looked identical to the character in that movie Every Which Way But Loose. He reminds me of the leader of their gang "The Black Widows". Sam is a pretty lazy guy who just does the driver thing for a paycheck. Everybody has a neighbor like this.

Walker Bros
The Walker Bros are 2guys that have the same last name, Walker. Lonny has red hair and Ronnie has black hair. They are always together and usually walking somewhere. One works for the city street department, and the other works for a clothing store in town. They are kind of an heirloom for this town.

Mike
This is Mike, our neighbor across the street. He's 21, and a great fan of football, played on the team in high school. Just a good wholesome guy, now attending the same community college that one of the Walker brothers attended earlier. Mike is just trying to get the basics out of the way.

George the Musician
George the Musician is a guy that I take around town in the cab once in awhile. He is definitely strange. George claims he composes, writes and plays music. He also tells me that he can speak three languages. Out of the blue George will just say 'OH MY!' which really freaks you out when you are driving.

Peppy
Peppy is George's cat. This cat would rather be out side on the fence. People walk down the alley and feed, pet and play with her, when she's awake that is.

Mustache Dan
Mustache Dan is a guy that worked on a pipeline job with me. He is just a normal guy that ran heavy equipment, and never said a lot. He always wore dark glasses so you could never see who or what he was looking at. Mustache Dan was his 'on the job name'; it's what construction people do to each other!

Mule Tale Mike
Mule Tale Mike is also a very nice guy that worked on the pipeline crew as a laborer. "All you construction workers will know that jargon." Mule Tale never did a lot, he just stood around with his hands on his hips.

The Ramirez Family
The Ramirez family is a Mexican family that lived near me. They are the most hospitable people you could ever meet. They are always feeding me authentic Mexican food. The Ramirez family also sends home a dish which my mother returns full of something that she likes to cook. The kids are never out of line, and are courteous to everyone. They are a close knit family. The mother is Maria, father is Hector, and the children are Suzi and Jose.

Stinky John
This was a guy that I worked with in California at a telemarketing firm. He smelled horrible all the time. This guy had a master's degree in business. He would always come in and tell me what I should put my money in. You could tell he had knowledge in the business field. I told my friends about him and they started asking what did Stinky John have to say today? That's how we came up with the name.

Soap
Soap is John's dog. He would bring him to work once in awhile and leave him tied up to a tree. This dog was definitely not a well groomed dog. He was as friendly as they come, though he smelled worse than John though. We just nick named him Soap.

Stella
Stella is a girl that just likes hanging out with the 2guys. She is not a girl friend to either of them though. They just take her along cause she caters to them. A lot of you mothers out there can relate to their daughters hanging out with 2guys, :)

Eddy
Eddy is just a guy that lives in the neighborhood and likes to hang out at BBQ's and neighborhood events. He is a very well behaved kid.

Oppy
Oppy is Eddie's adopted cat. He just gave him a saucer of milk and bread, and now they are a team.

Pete
Pete is a guy that is just trying to hack his way through life until he finds himself. He works for a construction company during the day, and then at night he helps contractors pour crete. Pete is just a good guy to have as a neighbor. It seems like a lot of the people in town live by a hand shake rule.

James
James is a guy that would give you anything, including the shirt off his back. He got out of the service and was driving through town and had a flat. People in town fixed it and gave him a place to sleep for the night. He hasn't left yet and the town is glad.

Berneice
Berneice is the lady on the end of the street that drinks mixed drinks all day, but never gets out of line. She just does her laundry and cleans the house. She will occasionally stop over or go to a block get together. Everyone in our neighborhood knows she has a drinking problem, so they call her Bubbly Berneice.
